Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the ZLEA Digital Safety website, its educational resources and its message forms.
Last updated: 10 September 2026
Educational information
The guides, articles and news summaries on this website provide general digital-safety information. They cannot account for every device, account, law or personal situation and do not replace legal, medical, mental-health, law-enforcement or emergency advice.
Not an emergency service
ZLEA Digital Safety does not provide emergency response or continuous crisis monitoring. Messages may not be read or answered immediately. If you are in immediate danger, contact appropriate local emergency services or a trusted local support organization when it is safe to do so.
Using digital-safety guidance
You are responsible for deciding whether a suggested action is appropriate for your situation. Changing passwords, signing out devices, removing access or confronting another person can sometimes alert them or affect access to information. If taking action could increase your risk, pause and seek appropriate specialist or local support.
We do not guarantee that any particular step will recover an account, preserve evidence, prevent access or produce a specific outcome.
Messages and guidance
Submitting a message does not create a formal legal, therapeutic or emergency-service relationship. We may decide that we cannot assist with a request and may suggest another source of support. Please do not send passwords, verification codes, recovery codes, financial details or unlawful material.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit malicious code, impersonate another person or use the forms to threaten, harass or facilitate unlawful conduct. We may block abusive or automated submissions.
External sources
Some pages link to third-party websites, platform instructions, reports and news sources. These links are provided for context and convenience. We do not control their availability, content, security or privacy practices.
Copyright and sharing
Unless otherwise stated, ZLEA Digital Safety owns the original website text, design and downloadable resources. You may link to our public pages and use downloaded guides for personal, non-commercial learning. Do not sell, misrepresent or republish substantial portions as your own without permission. Third-party material remains subject to its original owner’s terms.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the website useful and available, but it may contain errors or become temporarily unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ZLEA Digital Safety is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on general website information or third-party content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
